If you remember I talked about a new project called WhyCroatia and how great it is. In the mean time this project was covered number of times on television (during main daily news), a lot of people and news portals wrote about it and evan the Croatian minister of tourism and his department saw the potential of this project and helped it in some way (and started something similar but different enough). They also added a prize contest for the best uploaded video to encourage even more people to post their reasons and help spread the buzz about Croatia.

It’s finally happened… VELUMrent was released two weeks ago and my company can finally start doing real business :). This is the reason why my free time has fallen down to none again. I thought it would be easier to write content for VELUMrent website, easier to promote it and easier to get new potential leads. (more…)

If you followed my earlier posts you could see that I have “a thing” for all kinds of gadgets. But the most interesting thing is that I’m almost addicted into getting new USB hubs.

I really don’t know why. It’s not like their speed, performance or something else changes drastically through time like with other gadgets. Basically there are two types of USB hubs on the market now (powered and non-powered) and this was the case in the past year or so as well. But still, since then I had to purchase a couple of them while I really didn’t need them.

Once I got my first Mac it didn’t take long for my girlfriend to fell in love with Macs and Apple products in general as well. And for this year Valentines day I decided to surprise her with an early Valentines gift - a brand new unibody MacBook.

Couple of weeks back I stumbled upon Rovio, a nice little robot with some great features. I knew about it before, but I saw it as a pricy web cam on wheels then. Well, basically it still is a web cam on wheels today as well :) but now I want it! I neeed it!!!

I don’t need Rovio specifically as much as I need and want to have some kind of a robot at home. I want to control it with my computer and let it cruise around when I’m not “playing” with it.
It would be also great if I could have some kind of interaction with it like voice commands and stuff.

In the past few weeks I tried something new and this is how it all ended:

Few weeks back when I stumbled across Ping.fm I started doing something what I never done before…and that is updating my status on Facebook. Hell, it was the only reason I started using Ping.fm.

Until then I was happy with my Twitter account for mini blogging, but as all other things in life, Twitter had a downside as well. The downside for me was that no friends of mine use twitter :( !
All of them are on Facebook and they are using it as it is the only social networking service in the world. (more…)
