Unibody MacBook unboxing

Once I got my first Mac it didn’t take long for my girlfriend to fell in love with Macs and Apple products in general as well. And for this year Valentines day I decided to surprise her with an early Valentines gift - a brand new unibody MacBook.

I don’t need to say how happy she was with this gift (And yes, there were tears in here eyes. And no, I didn’t hit her before that :) )!
And because she received an used iPhone before this was here first unboxing of an Apple product.
You can see the whole thing in this Mobile Me gallery. The photo were taken with an iPhone and that is why their quality isn’t as good as it should be.

As for the MacBook I can only say it is the best notebook on the market (any model in any sizes off course). The build quality is amazing. It feels so solid and firm like no other notebook I’ve tried.
Also the lack of sharp edges and visible connecting parts is stunning. Everything is at the right place, and as always with Apple products and design nothing was left to chance. The two things I like the most is the battery indicator on the side, and the sleep indicator lamp which you can only see when it is turned on (again awesome).

So much compliments and we didn’t evan turn the MacBook on :).

Once we turned it on and start using it I was amazed with the speed of this MacBook. All the time it felt as fast as my iMac, and it has 400 Mhz slower CPU (I have the older version of alu iMac).

At the end we were both very happy with it. And I didn’t regret buying it for Ivana, and she didn’t regret receiving it :).

So this is another successful switch I’ll have to add to my count :).
